The Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) seeks a qualified individual for the Management Analyst 3 (Project Coordinator) position. This role is within the Consumer Protection Division and is based out of our Tumwater Office.

Within OIC, the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) Program plays a vital role in consumer protection by empowering individuals with the knowledge and assistance they need to make informed health coverage choices. Through education and outreach, one‑on‑one decision support, and ongoing help with complaints and appeals, SHIBA ensures people are not alone as they navigate Medicare and other health insurance options.

This is a Washington General Service position. The monthly salary range for this position is $5,011- $6,735.

- Coordinate the planning, implementation, and completion of projects that support SHIBA education, outreach, training, and consumer assistance programs.
- Apply project management principles to document and manage project requirements, timelines, risks, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Facilitate and support project‑related meetings, work groups, and work sessions with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve business process issues.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives, using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality across SHIBA programs.
