Base pay range$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Job DescriptionAs a Depot Manager, you will oversee the overall management of facilities, products, fleet, employees, equipment, customer service requests, and day‑to‑day operations. You will ensure that policies and procedures are followed, maintain safety and compliance, and achieve company standards while fostering a positive team environment.
Job Duties- Establish and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Manage and build a united team of delivery drivers and encourage good moral character.
- Handle route driver deliveries, preventive equipment maintenance, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, purchase orders, and documentation required by Central Office.
- Develop deep knowledge of products, equipment, and company policies.
- Plan, distribute, monitor, and follow up on daily route assignments.
- Coordinate, schedule, and deliver equipment as requested, ensuring full functionality.
- Communicate sales opportunities, customer issues, repairs, freezer swaps, and safety concerns.
- Order, maintain, and monitor all product inventories.
- Monitor fleet maintenance.
- Teach and manage all employees to follow guidelines and policies.
- Manage end‑of‑day check‑in processes and communicate key service and safety details.
- Travel to satellite offices to verify daily operations.
- Associate's degree in Business Management or related field (or equivalent 5+ years of operational/fleet management experience).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record (2 years).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Understanding of OSHA requirements.
- Understanding of DOT regulations.
