Overview

What Our Automotive Technicians Do- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills
- Inspect, repair and diagnose systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay informed of rapidly changing automotive technology; promote teamwork to deliver on-time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
- Maintain expected standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping; use protective equipment when operating machinery and manual tools
- Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting, tires and wheels handling, standing, bending, and squatting
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver s license
- Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Preferred Qualifications:
ASE A4 (Steering and Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) certifications and state inspection licenses and/or MAC certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to cover business needs; locations may be open 7 days a week including weekends and holidays
- Ability to use technology and various applications to support correct diagnostics
- Utilize tools, skills, and product knowledge to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines
