Snapshot of Daily Duties
  • Perform routine patient check‑in procedures, including patient work‑ups and new patient history.
  • Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as directed by physician.
  • Perform phlebotomy for lab work and complete required forms.
  • Approve prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies at the direction of physicians.
  • Assist in maintaining general medical records.
  • Schedule patient appointments and other procedures in the computer as needed.
  • Schedule outpatient x‑rays and tests as needed.
Must Haves
  • Medical Assistant certification or the equivalent.
  • Previous M.D. office experience or clinical work.
  • Maintain current licensure and BLS certification.
  • Maturity, empathy, and patience.
  • Be special – not everyone can do what we do.
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to adjust to a fast‑paced environment and follow proper protocols.
