All Animal Hospital is a well-established and growing 5 doctor General Practice veterinary hospital located in Tupelo, MS. We provide a wide range of veterinary services including preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and boarding. As we continue to expand and renovate our facility, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Veterinary Practice Manager to support our team and oversee hospital operations during this exciting stage of growth.

The Veterinary Practice Manager is responsible for day-to-day hospital operations, team leadership, client experience, and financial performance. This role requires a strong understanding of veterinary clinic workflow, customer service, and staff management. You will partner closely with hospital ownership and medical leadership to support operational efficiency, team development, and hospital growth.
Veterinary Team Leadership & Staff Management- Lead, supervise, and support veterinarians, technicians, receptionists, and support staff.
- Create staff schedules that ensure proper coverage across all hospital departments.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and client-focused work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and lead training, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
- Organize staff meetings, CE opportunities, and communication updates.
- Oversee daily operations including workflow, patient flow, inventory, and facility maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, DEA, and all veterinary regulatory standards.
- Support hospital renovation and expansion projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Implement systems to improve efficiency, patient care, and staff satisfaction.
- Ensure delivery of exceptional client service across all touchpoints.
- Address client concerns and support effective communication between clients and medical staff.
- Oversee billing, payment processing, client accounts, and financial accuracy.
- Manage hospital financial performance, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Review and analyze P&L statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-management strategies.
- Partner with Medical Director to increase operational efficiency and revenue growth.
- Assist with marketing initiatives including social media, community events, and local partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, rescue groups, and community organizations.
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in veterinary practice management or veterinary clinic operations.
- Strong working knowledge of veterinary medicine
, including an understanding of common procedures, treatments, and client communication. - Prior experience managing a veterinary team, including leading staff, overseeing scheduling, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Familiarity with veterinary software (e.g., AVImark, Cornerstone, or equivalent), and proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage finances, budgets, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Understanding of veterinary hospital operations, including inventory management, patient care flow, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred:
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience in hospital expansion or renovation projects.
- Experience with boarding operations is a plus.
- Strong background in customer service and client retention strategies.
