SalesLeadership
- We have multiple levels of leadership starting from a Leader In Training and advancing to an Assistant Manager or Management Trainee.
- We hire our Store, Area and District Managers from within; the Management Training Program is your path to becoming a Store Manager.
- A sales leader will enjoy working directly with the Guest recommending, selecting and locating merchandise based on Guest needs.
- Leaders will support store management with recruiting, training and development.
- Contribute to the overall sales strategy of the store including visual merchandising, sales demonstration and coaching, and sales floor coverage.
- Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is consistently prepared to provide legendary service to each Guest.
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on Guest needs and desires.
- Operations Managers:
- Managing promotions and ensure signage is displayed appropriately.
- Complete pulls and markdowns.
- Help with the hiring and onboarding process.
- Freight Coordinators:
- Compare and verify merchandise invoices to items received to ensure that shipments are correct.
- Send orders to Guests via Fed Ex.
- Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
- Store Support:
- Complete Guest Transactions by operating the Point of Sales.
- Assist operations manager as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized and shop‑able store.
- Partner with store leadership to discuss and plan store layouts.
- Create design flow of the merchandise including product rotation and markdown placement.
- Educate the reasons driving visual strategies to Buckle leadership.
- Use Buckle provided sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
- This position typically works 2–5 hours per week.
