Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC at Walmart

Base pay range: $23.00/hr - $45.00/hr

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and hand, digital, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders and support stores and store associates, documenting repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.

• Individual compensation packages based on factors such as skill set, experience, position level, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
