Primary Function:
Cost analysis (Variable and Tooling cost) of Electrical & Electronics components and systems of new design and modifications.

Essential Responsibilities:

Target cost estimation during the design and development phase, working with the Cost Manager and Team Leader.
Support the systems and components development with Design to cost approach, guiding the designers to select the best technologies, process and materials in terms of cost and quality.
Macro estimation of parts and systems starting from preliminary Engineering ideas, Block Diagrams or concepts.
Benchmarking activities starting from 3D/2D or disassembled parts.
Support Purchasing Department during the negotiation phase.
