MATERIALS APPLICATION ENGINEER - PRODUCTION SUPPORT SPECIALIST - AVIATION DOMAIN

Job Location:

Turin Area, Italy

Role Overview
The selected resource, assigned to a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines / Gearboxes domain, will be in charge for activities related to material characterization.
Specifically, the selected resource shall contribute to plan and manage test campaigns with focus on mechanical properties, analyze the results and share the outcomes, partnering with other Departments (i. e., Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.) and directly interfacing with suppliers.

Qualification Requirements
Materials/Nanotechnology/ Engineering Master Degree or similar background;
Broad knowledge about metallic materials and their production processes;
Good knowledge and experience on characterization tests, with focus on mechanical ones;
Good computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);
Basic knowledge of fracture mechanics and experience with international standards will be considered a plus;
Proficiency in English.
