The company is focusing on accelerating growth in non-automotive, or adjacent markets, including Industrial, Robotics, Commercial Vehicles, Construction, Agriculture, Commercial Aerospace, Space, and Energy. This role will be responsible for developing connection system solutions for customers challenges into the Industrial and Robotics Markets.
We are looking for technical problem solvers who understand how to win business.
Your Role Develop new customer opportunities by visiting customers, understanding their challenges/requirements, and proposing technical solutions to proactively get Aptiv connectors designed into production.
Provide “voice of the customer” feedback to our internal business and engineering teams.
Track and improve APTIV connector penetration and growth by customer, market, and product lines
Recommend new products and technology needed to increase our sales in Industrial and Robotics markets for inclusion on our future roadmap
Develop competitor benchmarking information including products, performance, tradeoffs to highlight potential value prop entry
Lead BOM development for internal quote process
Lead customer technical reviews
Support material preparation for internal business reviews
Metrics :
Industrial and Robotics market sales, bookings, and profitability growth
Product Roadmap for Industrial and Robotics market
Internal / External Working Relationships:
Collaborate with Sales, Product Line, and Distribution teams in prioritizing key Industrial and Robotics market opportunities
Collaborate with Sales, Product Line, Marketing, and Distribution teams in identifying which of our current automotive products best match Industrial and Robotics market customer needs to promote growth
Your background
Undergraduate degree in engineering (mechanical or electrical)3+ years of experience in areas relevant for our business e.g. products like wire harness and connectors and end markets like Industrial and Robotics Demonstrated skills and experience in solving complex technical problems with innovative product solutions – includes structuring the problem, gathering and analyzing data, generating insights, recommendations and gaining customer acceptance
Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop polished visuals (PowerPoint) and communicate effectively with customers
Growth driven hunter mentality
High motivation with a track record of strong performance and career progression
Experience in effective collaboration in a team environment

The advertised salary range for Italy under new EU Pay Transparency Directive of 65 - 75 000 euro annually reflects a broad pay band that encompasses one sub-level within this job profile.
