We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of complex technical topics. The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and managing technical documentation for the installation, configuration, and use of devices within security, communication, and home automation systems, such as system manuals, product brochures, and user guides.
Additionally, they must possess the technical and systems engineering knowledge necessary to draft system diagrams.
Key Responsibilities Drafting and Reviewing :
Create clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation intended for various users: installers, building managers, and end customers.
Collaboration :
Work closely with development teams (software, hardware, mechanical) to gather technical information and ensure the accuracy of the documentation.
Document Management :
Organize and utilize the company’s document management system to ensure that all materials are easily accessible and up-to-date.
Supplier Management :
Work with external suppliers to ensure that the quality of external documentation aligns with company standards. Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
Continuous Improvement :
Identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of documentation through feedback and analysis.
