As part of Eaton’s growth strategy, we are expanding our Product Line Management team and seeking a dynamic Product Manager (PM) to drive portfolio innovation, market alignment, and commercial performance. This role is central to defining and executing product strategies that meet evolving customer needs, maximize revenue and margin, and ensure operational excellence across global markets.
The PM will lead cross‑functional collaboration to shape product roadmaps, manage lifecycle performance, and deliver customer‑centric solutions that align with segment strategies. From pricing architecture and demand planning to R&D investment stewardship and digital enablement, this is an opportunity to influence the future of power distribution and contribute to a division that thrives on innovation, strategic partnerships, and business impact.
Responsibilities- Set product vision and strategy, articulating business value to the New Product Development (NPD) team and guiding product development from concept to market launch.
- Own the strategy (the “why”) and roadmap, working with stakeholders to build what matters and determine the “when” of releases.
- Act as the CEO of the product family, making decisions on portfolio additions or rationalization.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align the product portfolio with target segment needs and channel strategies, and facilitate marketing in creating desired market communication.
- Drive growth of the MVPD product by identifying and developing new opportunities across data center, utilities, industrial, and commercial & industrial segments.
- Support sales, profitability, new product introductions, and product portfolio targets.
- Measure, manage, and drive product performance with a focus on end‑to‑end profitability according to plan and forecast.
- Identify and understand customer needs, competitive environment, and market trends for products and applications.
- Define product roadmap and drive development based on customer feedback, managing the product lifecycle and transitioning systems to the inactive stage with the services and aftermarket group.
- Support partner engagement strategy, including onboarding, training, and performance tracking of installation and commissioning partners where applicable.
- Understand the complete end‑to‑end delivery model and business ecosystem to support an effective go‑to‑market strategy.
- Collaborate with sourcing, logistics, and operations to ensure delivery readiness and serviceability.
- Promote product portfolio (e.g., transformer, switch gear, power modules, and LV busway systems) as integral components of scalable and efficient data center infrastructure.
- Work with the MARCOM team to develop segment‑specific materials and success stories to increase awareness and visibility.
- Implement, coordinate, and conduct new product development initiatives.
- Drive efficiency and cost‑out programs.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in a B2B environment, with at least 3 years in product management or a similar role.
