Siu Digital is a content-driven digital agency with over 40 employees, also operating as a startup factory developing innovative software products. We are seeking a Mid-Level Social Media Specialist with strong operational capabilities to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of social media strategies, requiring a balance of creativity and meticulous operational management.
This position is based in Ankara – candidates must already reside in or near the area.
Job Description
As a Social Media Specialist at Siu Digital, you will plan and execute content, analyze performance data, and adapt viral trends to fit our brand voice. You will also manage client requests, moderate social media channels, and ensure all activities align with business objectives to strengthen our online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage content in alignment with existing social media strategies, focusing primarily on Instagram, with secondary responsibilities for Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, and You Tube.
- Research and adapt viral trends to create engaging content that resonates with our audience and fits the brand’s tone.
- Oversee daily operations by handling client requests, managing content schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between design and content teams.
- Moderate social media channels by responding to comments/messages and actively engaging with followers to build community and drive interaction.
- Analyze performance metrics using tools and social media platforms to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as the key client contact to ensure their social media needs are met with accuracy, creativity, and operational efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist, with at least 2 years in an agency setting.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and manage social media workflows and operations.
- Strong experience in content writing in English with the ability to adapt tone and style for different brands.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Emplifi, Facebook Business).
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, clients, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and content best practices.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
