Composite Recycling Solutions Engineer

What you need to know about this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline,
• Experience in recycling technologies, or industrial material processing (experience with carbon fiber or polymer composites is a strong plus),
• Hands-on experience in technical project coordination or engineering project support roles,
• Familiarity with material characterization, testing methods, and performance evaluation,
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and external stakeholders,
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders,
• Willingness to participate in customer-facing activities, trials, and site visits when required.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and result-oriented mindset,
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken,
• Reside in or be willing to relocate to Yalova, İzmit, or the Anatolian side of Istanbul.

• Coordinate composite recycling projects from feasibility phase through implementation, ensuring alignment with defined timelines, budget, and project scope,
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, sustainability, procurement, and quality to support project execution,
• Coordinate and support interactions with external partners such as waste collectors, recyclers, converters, and recycling technology providers,
• Track and report project KPIs, and support compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations,
• Contribute to the evaluation, development, and optimization of composite recycling technologies,
• Analyze recycled fiber performance, material properties, and suitability for downstream applications; coordinate testing activities with internal and external laboratories,
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers regarding recycled carbon fiber products and related applications,
• Participate in customer trials, sampling programs, and product qualification activities,
• Support commercial teams by evaluating customer technical requirements and aligning them with internal capabilities,
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, datasheets, reports, and training materials related to recycled composite products and technologies.
