Process Design Executive

AKSA, a company of Akkök Holding, was founded in 1968 in Yalova. Becoming the world’s largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 350,000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are seeking a Process Design Executive with experience in chemical engineering and strong leadership skills to join our Process Development Department.

• Graduate of Chemical Engineering departments of universities
• At least 7 years of experience in process design, production engineering or process improvement
• Actively involved in production facilities; experienced in process development and improvement studies
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and holistic decision‑making skills
• Proficient in time management and prioritization
• Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with different disciplines
• Proficient in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies
• Knowledgeable about process safety (PSM) and safe design principles
• Experienced in energy efficiency and sustainability projects
• Able to design, develop and ensure the sustainability of process control processes
• Able to contribute to industrial digital transformation projects
• Strong team management and leadership skills

• Designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes
• Analyzing bottlenecks in production processes and developing lasting solutions
• Coordinating Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects
• Conducting design and improvement studies in accordance with process safety requirements
• Developing and managing projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency
• Developing and implementing technical solutions to improve process control and production performance
• Leading and managing the engineering team for which they are responsible, and supporting performance and development processes
• Implementing projects by working in coordination with production, maintenance, and investment teams
