More About This RoleWhat you need to know about this position:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering degree is preferred),
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE Department preferred in Chemical Manufacturing/plant experience,
- Class B Occupaitonal Safety Specialist Certificate from the Ministry,
- Preferably having Nebosh certificate.
- Expert level know-how on HSE Management systems and risk assessment methodologies,
- Experience in Auditing ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001,
- Proficiency in written and spoken English,
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills,
- Residing or to be residing in Yalova, İzmit, Bursa or İstanbul (Anatolian Side).
- Lead execution of the site’s annual HSE Plan and be responsible for the deployment of a behavioral-based safety culture,
- Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures for safety compliance & best practices,
- Build capability of site resources to support implementation of HSE programs,
- Inspect the facility to identify environmental, health, and safety risks,
- Lead incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans and report them to management,
- Participate in formal HSE reviews of existing equipment modifications, new equipment purchases, and changes in site processes,
- Ensure that required regulatory permits are acquired, that reports are submitted to regulatory agencies, and any site permit conditions (e.g. sampling, recordkeeping) are met,
- Facilitate the completion of a site-wide annual HSE training plan,Lead HSE audits and/or self-assessments,
- Regular follow-up of ISO 45001 OHS Management Systems documentation.
