Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

AKSA, a company of Akkök Holding, was founded in 1968 in Yalova. Becoming the world’s largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 350.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with the following qualifications to work in the Mechanical Maintenance Department at our factory operating in Yalova.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance,
• Knowledge of planning, prioritizing, organizing, and monitoring maintenance activities,
• Experience in equipment modernization and improvement projects, with a good understanding of project management methodologies,
• Basic knowledge of automation systems,
• Proficiency in English,
• Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with Maximo or SAP maintenance management systems is a plus,
• Strong team player with analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

• Ensure that the mechanical equipment under responsibility is continuously operational, well-maintained, and efficient,
• Plan and implement necessary maintenance and improvement activities to minimize production losses caused by failures,
• Execute maintenance processes in compliance with occupational health & safety and technical safety regulations, while keeping up with current technologies,
• Contribute to system sustainability by performing periodic maintenance, failure analysis, and root cause analysis.
