Tüprag Metal Madencilik is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to support and manage geotechnical activities for the open pit, waste dumps, and heap leach pad operations at Kışladağ Gold Mine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for geotechnical monitoring, slope stability assessments, risk management, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to provide technical support for safe and efficient mining operations.

• Conduct daily geotechnical inspections of the open pit, waste dumps, and heap leach pad facilities.
• Monitor and evaluate geotechnical instrumentation, including Radar, Prism Monitoring, InSAR, TDR, SAA, Vibrating Wire Piezometers (VWP), Inclinometers, and Extensometers.
• Review monitoring data, evaluate trigger thresholds, and assess ground behaviour.
• Interpret prism monitoring data and prepare 2D displacement heat maps, cross‑sections, and movement analyses to identify deformation trends and potential failure mechanisms.
• Compare prism monitoring results with InSAR data to validate ground movement.
• Manage and implement site‑specific Trigger Action Response Plans (TARPs).
• Collect, analyze, and report geotechnical monitoring data to support geotechnical risk management.
• Supervise drilling activities and the installation of geotechnical monitoring instruments.
• Perform structural mapping of pit walls and rock slopes, and recommend stabilization measures where required.
• Maintain and update geotechnical mapping databases to support geological and geotechnical modelling.
• Collect field and core samples for laboratory testing.
• Support wall‑control programs for safe pit development.
• Collect and evaluate hydrogeological data and contribute to groundwater and numerical modelling studies.
• Collaborate closely with Mine Planning, Drill & Blast, Operations, and Process teams to provide geotechnical support for mining activities.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and company standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in the mining industry.
• Internship or practical experience in open pit mining is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a shift rotation when assigned to monitoring activities.
• Good knowledge of GIS, Leapfrog, Rocscience software (Dips, Swedge, Roc Plane, Slide, RS2), and radar monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and organizational skills.
