Having a capacity of 350.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Executive with the following qualifications to work in the Mechanical Maintenance Department at our factory operating in Yalova.

Qualities we are looking for;
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment,
  • Strong knowledge of planning, prioritizing, organizing, and monitoring maintenance activities,
  • Experience in equipment modernization, reliability improvement, and capital projects, with a solid understanding of project management methodologies,
  • Basic knowledge of automation and control systems,
  • Preferably experience in heavy industry, chemical plants, or continuous production environments,
  • Proficiency in English,
  • Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with SAP PM or Maximo,
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with production, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and deliver timely maintenance solutions,
  • Strong leading, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills,
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset,
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills,Strong commitment to occupational health, safety, and technical integrity standards.
Your main tasks are;
  • Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment within the assigned area of responsibility,
  • Prepare, optimize, and monitor the annual maintenance budget to ensure cost-effective operations,
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, overseeing their performance, development, and training plans,
  • Develop, plan, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and minimize production losses,
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify reliability improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions to enhance asset performance,
  • Lead failure investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to eliminate recurring equipment issues,
  • Coordinate periodic maintenance activities, major shutdowns, and equipment overhauls in line with production requirements,
  • Manage equipment modernization, refurbishment, and improvement projects to support operational excellence and long-term asset reliability,
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and other stakeholders to align maintenance priorities with business and operational needs,
  • Manage maintenance contractors and external service providers, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards,
  • Support spare parts management activities, including critical spare identification, inventory optimization, and technical evaluation of materials and services,
  • Ensure maintenance activities are properly documented and executed through maintenance management systems such as SAP PM or Maximo,
  • Track maintenance KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness,
  • Ensure full compliance with occupational health & safety, environmental, and technical safety requirements throughout all maintenance activities,
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and reliability methodologies to support sustainable asset management.
