Environmental Manager

We are seeking an Environmental Manager to lead environmental management and consultancy processes within the Yalova Composite and Chemical Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (YALKİM OSB)-in which Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayii

A.Ş. is a participant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of environmental regulations, experience in industrial facilities, and specific expertise in the environmental processes of the chemical and energy sectors.

• Graduate of a university Environmental Engineering department,
• Preferably experienced in environmental management, consultancy, or management/team leadership within large-scale industrial facilities,
• Experienced in the chemical and/or energy sectors, with a strong grasp of the environmental processes and current regulations relevant to these industries,
• Possessing practical experience in EIA (ÇED), environmental permits and licenses, emissions, wastewater, waste management, and environmental monitoring and audit processes,
• Knowledgeable and experienced in regulations and systems such as SKHKKY, SAİS, SEÖS, MET, SYD, and Industrial Emissions Management,
• Able to keep up with changes in environmental legislation and effectively manage related processes,
• Capable of maintaining effective communication and coordination with public institutions, consultants, laboratories, and industrial organizations,
• Possessing strong skills in team management, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and reporting,
• Proficient in English.

• Ensure the effective and regulatory-compliant execution of environmental consultancy services provided to YALKİM OIZ and participating companies,
• Organize the Environmental Department team, assign tasks, and coordinate the team's activities,
• Monitor the obligations of participating companies regarding environmental regulations and provide technical guidance,
• Manage and coordinate EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), environmental permit, and licensing processes,
• Keep abreast of current regulations and practices regarding the Green Transformation in Industry (SYD), Best Available Techniques (BAT), and Industrial Emissions Management,
• Manage obligations related to emissions, waste, wastewater, and other environmental aspects for the chemical and energy sectors,
• Oversee monitoring, measurement, data transmission, and reporting processes within the scope of SKHKKY (Industrial Air Pollution Control), SAİS (Industrial Air Quality Monitoring System), and SEÖS (Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems),
• Ensure that hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and industrial wastewater treatment processes are conducted in compliance with regulations,
• Coordinate environmental measurement, analysis, monitoring, and reporting activities,
• Monitor changes in environmental regulations and inform YALKİM OIZ management and relevant companies,
• Provide technical coordination for processes involving the Ministry, the Provincial Directorate, and other public institutions,
• Prepare for official inspections and follow up on post-inspection corrective and preventive actions,
• Assess environmental risks, plan necessary actions, and lead initiatives to improve YALKİM OIZ's environmental performance.
