About the PositionWe’re looking for a talented and hands-on Robotics Engineer with strong expertise in ROS2 to join our R&D team on-site in Istanbul.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and improving the autonomous behaviors of our robots. Your work will directly impact real-world robotic platforms operating in dynamic, human-populated environments.
You’ll be working closely with our Business Development Lead to run outreach campaigns, identify ideal partners, and make sure our message is relevant and grounded in real-world needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop core robotic functions using ROS2, including:
- SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping)
- Path planning and navigation
- Obstacle avoidance and task execution
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented ROS2 Nodes in C++ and Python.
- Integrate various sensors (stereo/depth cameras, LiDAR, IMU, ultrasonic, etc.) into the robotic stack.
- Test, evaluate, and improve system performance in real-world environments.
- Collaborate with hardware, AI, and mobile development teams to deliver seamless, integrated products.
- Contribute to technical documentation, system design discussions, and code reviews.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing with ROS or ROS
2. - Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Strong understanding of robotic systems, kinematics, and motion control.
- Experience with ROS2 tools such as:
- Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) development environments.
- Experience working with real robots (not just simulation).
- Familiarity with OTA updates, fleet management, or cloud-based control systems.
- Knowledge of perception systems (object/human detection).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems across hardware and software layers.
- Contribution to open-source robotics projects or a Git Hub portfolio is a plus. or a long-term role if it’s the right fit
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Istanbul.
We do not offer remote or hybrid work options for this role. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already in Istanbul.
