Software Development Engineers; Java, Mid-Senior-Principle

Looking for passionate software development engineers to power up Huawei’s Payment Platform. The bar is high but once you are in, you will be an integral part of an agile team that we are constructing at Huawei’s second largest R&D institution outside China, and you will play a key role in one of the core products of Huawei Consumer Cloud Services.

• Be a member of team developing numerous services of Huawei’s Payment Platform
• Involve in not only development of a part but also technical design, design review and code review processes of requirements.
• Pursue writing clear, testable, maintainable and properly documented code.
• Keep a sharp eye for automation/tooling needs and opportunities. Innovate with new technology to enable innovation, and operational excellence of the product

• Bachelor degree, majoring in computer software or similar fields.
• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Excellent grasp of Java and Spring
• Solid grasp of Microservices
• Solid grasp of Containerization (Docker)
• Solid grasp of Linux
• Excellent written and verbal skills with strong grasp of English is a must.

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Hands‑on experience in building and delivering payment platforms or payment industry related systems
• Hands‑on experience in delivering high‑concurrency platforms, proficient in transaction volume handling, large-scale distributed system experience
• Hands‑on experience in cloud‑native systems, proficiency in four 9s availability on cloud platforms like Huawei Cloud, AWS and etc...
• Hands‑on experience in unit testing and integration testing
• Attitude towards “getting things done” while maintaining regard for high quality in design, code and other deliverables.
• Comfortable tackling new problems and learning along the way
• Solid troubleshooting skills, able to dive into complex code/infrastructures, and find the root cause.
• Prospect of software engineer, able to analysis and resolve development and deployment issues.
