The Logistic Assistant is responsible for managing all daily operations in coordination with the Logistics Lead and helps coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse facility in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, or a related discipline
- Experienced in logistics or eager to build a career in the field
- Advanced command of MS Office applications
- Good understanding of ERP system preferred
- Sound knowledge of shipping processes and metrics

- Ensuring confidentiality of information
- Maintain accurate dates on all orders.
- Track inventory of materials and ensure accuracy of inventory records. Maintain information on ERP application (IFS); ensure it is up to date and accurate.
- Provide support in completing paperwork and documentation.
- Prepare Packing Lists, and Shipyard Material Receivers, etc., for ongoing shipments and projects.
- Prepare documents for MAPEG/TGM.
- Track and report shipments.
- Carry out clerical work, including typing, proofreading, and editing documents, correspondence, and reports for the logistics department or assigned.
- Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order.
- Maintain strong, productive relationships with freight carriers and forwarders to deliver shipments in a timely and cost-effective fashion.
- Support the team in the achievement of departmental targets and deadlines.
- Support general duties and colleagues within the logistics department.
