Position: Part-Time Lecturer(s) Pool in Biology

Part‑Time Lecturer(s) Pool in Biology

The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a pool of part‑time teaching appointments. Candidates selected will teach one or some combination of courses in the biological sciences.

Position

Applicants may teach courses such as:

  • Principles of Biology
  • General Biology lecture and labs
  • Human Anatomy lecture and labs
  • Human Physiology lecture and labs

This position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding.

Minimum Qualifications

A Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in a biological science preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior successful teaching experience at the college level preferred.

Compensation

Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule and others are normally placed in Range 2.
