Part‑Time Lecturer(s) Pool in Chemistry
California State University Stanislaus—Department of Chemistry—invites applications for a pool of part‑time teaching appointments. Selected candidates will teach one or more chemistry courses, primarily general education lectures, General Chemistry discussion and lab sections, and chemistry service courses for other disciplines as appropriate. Positions are contingent upon authorized funding.
Minimum Qualifications- A Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in chemistry preferred.
- Prior successful teaching experience at the college level preferred.

CompensationCommensurate with qualifications and experience. Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule and others are normally placed in Range
2. Starting salaries are usually at or near the minimum of the range. Full‑time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries are prorated based on the number of units assigned and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
