Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a full-time Dietitian Patient Service Manager position at Covenant Living of Turlock
, a 51-bed skilled nursing facility in Turlock, CA
. This position is 40% direct patient care and 60% clinical and food service management.
Start with 3 Weeks Vacation and 3 Personal Days. Flexible Schedule with potential for remote work. Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal. Money toward continuing education events. Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually.
What You ll Do
- provide compassionate care to skilled nursing and/or rehab residents
- consistently meet DOH/state/federal and company standards
- serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with nursing & medical staff and attending care conferences as assigned
- perform quality improvement initiatives such as test trays, food service audits, meal rounds and assist with placing food orders as needed
- oversee 12 FTEs
- provide support to assisted living as needed

What You Bring
- Registered Dietitian credentials
- one year of experience in senior living (preferred)
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- excellent interpersonal skills to make every day a better day for our residents

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Education Requirement:
Master s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND - For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND - Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
- Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
- Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
