Payroll and Accounts Receivable Clerk

A growing construction-related organization is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Accounts Receivable Clerk to support payroll processing and accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and can effectively manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain payroll records and employee information
• Prepare certified payroll reports for applicable projects
• Assist with accounts receivable functions and payment tracking
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and contract requirements
• Generate reports and maintain documentation using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Handle confidential employee and financial information with discretion
• Support accounting and administrative functions as needed

• Previous payroll processing experience preferred
• Certified payroll experience strongly preferred
• Experience with prevailing wage requirements is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional accounting or business education is a plus
