About the Role:

As a Commercial Construction Estimator based in Pelham, AL, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of high-value projects ranging from $1M to $8M. Your skills in estimating software (Procore experience is a major plus) will be essential in preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and developing budgets for design-build projects.

You will work directly with ownership, sales, and project managers in a supportive environment, offering flexibility and room for professional growth.

What You Will Do:
  • Perform Detailed Takeoffs:
    Analyze commercial construction prints to create accurate and reliable cost estimates.

  • Budget Development:
    Collaborate with sales teams to develop budgets for design-build projects, even with minimal design input.

  • Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:
    Obtain competitive pricing and bids from suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Bid Preparation:
    Review and discuss bids and estimates with ownership before submission.

  • Software Integration:
    Use Procore or other software to integrate estimates for project budgeting and forecasting.

  • Document Digitization:
    Convert handwritten estimates into digital formats when necessary.
