New Bethel Baptist Church, of Colbert county Alabama, is prayerfully seeking a full time/bi-vocational pastor. We have traditionally had a full time pastor, however at this time we feel that God may be leading us in the direction of a bi-vocational pastor. We desire the man that God is calling to be our pastor for leadership, teaching and training of disciples.
He should be a servant-leader who values discipleship, visitation, and congregational care.
We are a rural church, 6 miles from Tuscumbia Alabama and the surrounding 3 other cities that all share boundaries. God has richly blessed us with the facilities to provide adequate room for growth. We currently average about 40 in attendance on Sunday morning with capacity for seating around 200. We also have a large Family Life Center/gym with multiple classrooms and a commercial kitchen.
We provide Sunday School, AM Worship, evening Bible Study, Wednesday Prayer/Bible study and Youth & Children's activities.
