Faculty Development Program Manager

University of Alabama is hiring a Faculty Development Program Manager - 530839 to run faculty and leadership development initiatives out of the Office of Academic Affairs. The manager designs and delivers programs for faculty at every level, while also overseeing the recognition efforts and award processes that highlight faculty accomplishments. Day to day, the role works with campus partners, faculty, and academic leaders to plan, communicate, and assess these programs.

• Design, coordinate, and implement faculty and leadership development programs for faculty at all levels
• Provide program and project management support for university-wide development initiatives
• Manage faculty recognition initiatives and award processes
• Promote faculty accomplishments and raise awareness of university-wide recognition opportunities
• Partner with staff, campus partners, faculty, and academic leaders on planning, communication, and assessment
• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of higher education experience, or a master's degree and 2 years
• Prefer experience in faculty development, academic affairs, or leadership development in higher education
• Prefer experience managing multiple programs at once, coordinating faculty awards, and running program assessment
• Prefer project management training or certification
• Pay starts at $57,200 with a $74,300 midpoint;
  Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00am to 5:00pm
