We’re working with a well-established Fortune 500 manufacturer to find a strong Maintenance Manager for their plant about 50 minutes from Tuscaloosa, AL. This is a full‑time leadership role with great support, good people, and the chance to make a real impact.

General Duties
  • Lead all maintenance and reliability activities, with a big focus on safety
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance efforts (PM's)
  • Work closely with operations to improve uptime and reduce waste
  • Coach and develop your team—this group values mentorship and teamwork
  • Help lead site‑level capital projects, coordinating with regional engineering
  • Use the CMMS to manage reliability work and track improvements
  • Keep an eye on budgets, purchasing, and performance metrics
Requirements
  • Minimum of a HS Diploma, Bachelor's preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership in a high-speed industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems as they pertain to plant maintenance/repair.
  • Strong communicator who can build trust and accountability.
  • Experienced with capital projects and cross‑functional teams.
  • Comfortable with a 24/7 plant environment (weekend/holiday support as needed).
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Wood products experience is a plus.
