The Guest Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Tuscaloosa Hospitality LLC. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas, which directly impacts guest satisfaction and hotel reputation. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, ensuring that every room meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Additionally, the Guest Room Attendant will be expected to respond to guest requests and needs promptly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Ultimately, this role is vital in creating a positive experience for guests and encouraging repeat visits and positive reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department.
- Respond to guest requests for additional items or services in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as hallways and lobbies, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.
- Cleaning Checkouts in 30 minutes and stayovers in 15 minutes.
- Reporting Maintenance issues asap to maintenance before the guest finds the issues.
Skills:
Attention to detail is essential for the Guest Room Attendant, as it ensures that every aspect of the room is clean and inviting for guests. Time management skills are also important, as the role requires the ability to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards. Strong communication skills will help in addressing guest requests and collaborating with other staff members.
