SR DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND NUTRITION - CHARLOTTE, NC
Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 annual;
Up to $35,000 bonus potential;

Job SummaryThe Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day food‑service operations. You will manage and lead a team of employees, build and maintain client relationships, ensure profitability of the account, and drive talent development. This position is located in Charlotte, NC and requires an employee to reside in the area.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget, maximizing value for client dollars.
- Ensure that the food offered to the client is of superior quality.
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments within the community.
- Promote professional growth and development of the entire team.
- Foster strong inter‑departmental relationships and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum five years of proven leadership expertise.
- Two to four years of direct food‑service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
- Serv Safe® certified (a plus).
