We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel RN to join the Renal Med/Surg Telemetry team in Tuscaloosa, AL. If you’re passionate about providing exceptional care to patients with kidney-related conditions and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, this assignment may be a fit. As a member of the 36-bed Renal Unit, you’ll care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, including those requiring hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
Our team works closely with nephrologists, hospitalists, and family practice providers to deliver patient-centered care.
- Care for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- Collaborate with nephrologists, hospitalists, and family practice providers
- Monitor and respond to patient conditions, ensuring safety and quality care
- Education –
Required:
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) - Certifications –
Required:
BLS (AHA or Red Cross) - Licenses –
Required:
Active RN License – Alabama or Compact (No temporary licenses accepted); NURSYS verification required - Experience –
Required:
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (will consider 18 months with strong references); at least 1 year in the renal, med/surg, or telemetry specialty
