Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele General Surgery night shift position requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

• Work in a hospital setting on the 5 South General Surgery unit
• Medical-surgical and telemetry patient population
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Virtual orientation with competency-based modules included
• No Health Stream modules required prior to start
• All RNs must complete assigned competency modules during orientation
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no mileage restrictions

• Active AL or compact RN license with no past or current disciplinary actions
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, including at least 1 recent year in Med/Surg Tele
• Certifications as required for RN practice in Alabama
• Permanent state or compact license required at time of consideration; no temporary or pending licenses
• No license infractions or disciplinary history accepted
