Southern Health Partners is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Tuscaloosa County Jail in Alabama.

You’ll provide essential patient care in a safe and secure correctional healthcare setting, working alongside a dedicated medical team while serving an underserved population.

• Providing direct nursing care to patients
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Performing nursing assessments and monitoring patient conditions
• Responding to medical needs and changes in patient status
• Collaborating with medical providers and the healthcare team
• Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Providing patient education and reinforcing treatment plans
• Following established healthcare, safety, and security procedures
• Maintaining a professional and respectful healthcare environment

• Current LPN license in the state of Alabama
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while being a dependable member of the healthcare team
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Comfortable working in a structured, safe, and secure environment
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
