The Quality Supervisor plays a pivotal role in driving excellence across the plant. You will lead and inspire the Quality Assurance team, ensuring every process aligns with both company standards and customer expectations. In this role, you’ll champion the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS), guaranteeing full compliance with customer requirements while advancing our commitment to continuous improvement and operational success.

What you can look forward to as Quality Supervisor:

• Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the QMS as well as developing, implementing and improving these processes in the manufacturing areas.
• Representing facility as a liaison to the customer, and ensuring document control for the facility is maintained.
• Under management guidance schedules work, assists with employee selection, reviews employee performance, administers work rules and recommends personnel changes.
• Directing and supervising the activities of quality technicians in support of internal and external requirements, and assist in developing employees reporting to the Quality function.
• Responsible for productivity and quality management to the extent that it falls within department control.
• Recommending equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, process modifications and may recommend product or service modifications.
• Ensuring compliance to all IATF 16949 as required by company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the available resources meet the quality objectives identified for the location to include supplier and customer products and key metrics.

Your Profile as Quality Supervisor:

• Associates Degree (Four-year Business or Engineering degree, preferred)
• 3-5 years advanced knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within Quality Engineering such as 8D and 5 Why corrective action process.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, MS project, SAP, Documentation software.
• Working knowledge of six sigma and lean concepts.
• Experience with quality systems.
• Ability to use and train individuals to use standard shop measurement tools;
  In-depth knowledge of measuring equipment. I.e. CMM, surface measurements, calipers, micrometers.
