Food and Beverage Manager

CUSA, LLC, one of the most successful hotel management companies in the industry is searching for a hotel food and beverage manager for our Courtyard Tuscaloosa Bistro. When joining our team, you will be joining a company that prides itself on providing exceptional guest service, recognizing our associates as our best asset, and providing value to our business partners and owners.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of a 40-seat lobby restaurant with an 8-seat lobby bar.
  • Manage an average of 5-7 Bistro associates; schedule associates and control labor costs.
  • Maintain property food, beverage, and labor costs for the outlet.
  • Establish state, local, and management company regulations and policies in all areas of the food and beverage department.
  • Assist with scheduling, ordering, inventories, and cost control measures to support profitability.
  • Perform supervision, training, discipline, and performance management as needed.
  • Conduct menu cost analysis and/or pricing for the restaurant and catering operations.
  • Work a line shift to support labor and cost control restraints as required by occupancy and business needs.
Qualifications
  • General knowledge of safe food service practices.
  • Understanding of Marriott Brand hotel reporting requirements.
  • Serv Safe certification (preferred or required as applicable).
  • Ability to obtain Alabama State beverage service certificate.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and days based on hotel occupancy.
  • Experience in scheduling, cost control, inventory management, and keeping up with regulatory requirements.
