As a Security Officer – Medical Campus Patrol Driver in Tuscaloosa, AL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and information while maintaining a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior.
- Follow all protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management for the healthcare environment.
- Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations, lockdowns, or other site-specific procedures.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
