Non-CDL Residential Driver in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This position is open to veterans, transitioning military, National Guard and Reserve members, military spouses, wounded warriors, and caregivers.

Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes.

• Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR and document any issues.
• Report unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings.
• Work with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problems or unsafe accounts.
• Assist other drivers as directed and perform all duties scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Notify Operations Manager of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager.
• Dump containers, clean sites, and ensure containers left upright and not blocking access.
• Submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal.
• Position containers on customer property ensuring proper lids and upright position.
• Follow route assignments and complete documentation at route end.

This position has no supervisory duties.

  Current state‑issued standard Driver’s License.
