Field Service Engineer - Medical

Experteer Overview As a Field Service Engineer for Stryker’s Medical division, you repair and maintain Stryker electronic/mechanical products at customer sites, ensuring compliance with quality systems. You document activities and support quality actions such as recalls and field safety notices. You travel across Tuscany, Lazio and Umbria delivering service contracts, training and installation. You contribute to sales goals through reliable service and clear reporting, while supporting a mission to keep critical medical equipment running safely.

Retribuzione / Benefits Repair and inspect Stryker medical devices at customer sites

Perform annual MDR-compliant inspections and calibrations

Document technical reports and access technical information using software tools

Support Quality with recalls, field safety alerts and notices

Fulfil service contracts with scheduled maintenance

Provide technical training to internal and external personnel

Install Stryker systems at customer sites

Perform software and hardware updates on devices

Support internal/external customers with technical guidance

Document service activities for traceability and reporting

Assist in billing and contribute to sales goals

Ensure field product traceability via reporting tools

Coordinate customer visits with sales team or customer service

Travel to various customer sites within defined region

Responsabilità

Bachelor’s degree in electronic/mechanical/biomedical engineering or related field

Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written)
Minimum 1–3 years in medical device repair or healthcare environment

Strong mechanical skills and basic IT experience

Good relationship‑building with customers and internal teams

Service orientation, persistence, and positive mindset

Ability to work in diverse settings and manage travel (80%)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook Willingness to meet travel requirements and flexible schedule

Self‑discipline and strong organizational skills
