DescriptionLong-Lewis of the Shoals is seeking a results-driven Commercial & Fleet Sales Manager to lead and grow our fleet department. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving vehicle sales quotas by expertly managing your time, processes, and customer relationships. Your success will rely on your ability to network, generate leads, and proactively manage sales opportunities through a combination of offsite sales calls, cold-calling, and consistent follow-up.
You’ll be the face of the dealership for commercial clients, overseeing the entire sales process from initial inquiry through post‑sale support. You will build lasting relationships with businesses and municipal accounts, while addressing any concerns that may arise during or after the sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Drive sales:
Consistently meet or exceed commercial vehicle sales quotas by developing new business opportunities, managing leads, and converting sales. - Lead outreach efforts:
Conduct offsite sales calls, cold‑calling, develop a robust social media networking strategy to target potential commercial clients. - Customer relationship management:
Provide high‑level customer service to ensure long‑term satisfaction, handle concerns, and build strong client relationships. - Sales management:
Assist with deal structuring, pricing, and offer solutions based on client needs, including upfitting options and custom configurations. - Accountability:
Maintain accountability for meeting and exceeding sales targets, and manage the performance of the fleet department.
- Experience:
At least 2 years of commercial sales or sales management experience, ideally in a large‑volume dealership. - Business acumen: A strong understanding of commercial sales processes and the ability to drive results with a focus on both long‑term relationships and profitability.
- Entrepreneurial mindset:
Self‑driven with an entrepreneurial spirit and a keen ability to recognize opportunities and grow the business. - Skills:
Excellent communication, networking, and computer skills, with experience utilizing social media and other tools to build relationships. - Customer‑first attitude:
Dedication to providing outstanding service to customers, resolving concerns, and ensuring their long‑term satisfaction.
- Salary + commission:
