Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking General Laborers with experience in construction for the Tuscumbia, Alabama location, reporting to the Area Construction Manager & Superintendent.
Job Details- Wages start at $22.00/hr, based on experience.
- Full‑time / Permanent
- Day Shift ( $3 Night Shift Premium for all night shift work )
- Weekend work may be required
- Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits
- Set grade stakes at the direction of the Grading Foreman.
- Operate Heavy Equipment.
- Properly mark grade stakes.
- Record reference points at the direction of the Grading Foreman.
- Monitor conformance to stake references.
- Monitor grading operations in the absence of the Grading Foreman.
- Use sledgehammer to drive pins.
- Use pick and shovel to dig, hook up trailers.
- Fasten attachments to equipment.
- Assist with material handling, mix mortar mix, bolt, nail, and align, and block up under forms, measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch tight line.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Dedicated to always working safely.
- Self‑motivated, able to perform required duties without constant supervision.
- Able to perform a variety of duties, including site clean‑up, maintenance, operating equipment, and other duties as assigned.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Willing to work weekends and overtime.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
