We’re searching for an experienced Regional CDL Driver at our BR10‑Tuscumbia‑AL facility.

Dexter is the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy‑duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets. We have an opportunity for a Regional CDL Driver at our distribution facility located in Tuscumbia, AL
.

• Dedicated Regional Route delivering to Dexter customers in AL, MS, GA, with 1 overnight a week and home weekends.
• Equipment is an automatic International Day Cab Truck w/flatbed.
• Deliver trailer and trailer products while operating a tractor‑trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states to customers timely.
• Must be willing and able to tarp loads as needed.
• Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Inspect your trailer before and after the trip and record any defects you find.
• Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
• Keep a log of activities.
• Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Take rest periods during trip, take special precautions while driving.

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL Required.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• 1 year experience, including manual.
• Proven working experience as a commercial truck driver.
• Clean driving record – No DWI/DUI in the last 3 years.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
