Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will support the month‑end close, perform high‑quality reconciliations, maintain general ledger accuracy, and assist with internal financial reporting. This position will provide financial guidance and support to the organization’s leadership team. The role offers exposure to all facets of the business and works closely with key department leaders.

This role is full‑time and is a fully onsite (Monday–Friday) position located in Tustin, CA.

• Prepare and review journal entries for month‑end close, including accruals, prepaid expenses, inventory adjustments, and payroll‑related entries
• Perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
• Maintain the general ledger structure, ensuring proper coding and documentation
• Help develop, implement, and improve accounting policies and procedures
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to leadership on an ad hoc basis
• Manage relationships with external auditors and third‑party service providers
• Support preparation of internal financial statements and management reports
• Investigate variances and provide insight to the accounting leadership team
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information
• Help optimize processes related to a recent ERP implementation and identify efficiency opportunities
• Support automation initiatives, documentation of SOPs, and improvements to accounting workflows

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA is a plus, but not required)
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred (less experience may also be considered)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (SUMIF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience with a mainstream ERP/accounting system required (Oracle, Netsuite, SAP, etc.)
• Any experience working with through ERP implementations is a plus
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
• Accounting experience in the retail industry (or similar industry) is a plus, but not required Why Work Here?
