The Hurtt Family Health Clinic is looking for full-time certified Medical Assistants to provide high‑quality patient care by working alongside providers and other support staff to help facilitate the delivery of quality clinical care and a positive patient experience. All Medical Assistants must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

Full‑time, Monday through Friday 8 am–5 pm, with occasional weekend hours on a rotating Saturday morning shift (8 am–12 pm).

The Medical Assistant's primary job function is to work as part of the primary care team to provide high quality, efficient and service‑oriented patient care while demonstrating the health center's core values. The MA works alongside physicians, mid‑level providers, behavioral health professionals, registered nurses and other support staff to deliver direct patient care services. The Medical Assistant is responsible for executing standing orders and anticipating the needs of the care team in order to help facilitate the delivery of quality clinical care and a positive patient experience, and for actively participating in the health center's quality and continuous improvement.

• High School Education
• Medical Assistant certificate
• CPR/BLS certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to commit to a full‑time schedule of Monday through Friday 8 am–5 pm

• One year experience or training in a health care setting
• Experience working in an electronic medical record (EMR)
• Knowledge of State/County program, Medi-Cal, Cal Optima, CHDP, CDP, and F‑Pact
