Port View Preparatory is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. Under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the COTA will help design and deliver engaging therapeutic programs that empower students with diverse needs to thrive in their educational environments.

As a valued member of the educational support team, you will:
- Partner with the supervising Occupational Therapist to plan and implement meaningful, student-centered intervention programs
. - Support students' IEP goals by providing accommodations and strategies aligned with OT recommendations.
- Train teachers and staff to ensure carryover of therapeutic techniques in the classroom.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and specialists to promote student success.
- Participate in team meetings to help shape supportive learning environments.
- Assist with instructional support and pre-referral activities (non-evaluative).
- Create and adapt materials to enhance student participation and independence.
- Contribute to progress reporting and documentation in coordination with your supervising OT.
- Deliver individual, group, and consultative interventions across school settings.
- Help manage caseload responsibilities consistent with district and OT department standards.
- 1-4 years of experience as a COTA (school-based experience preferred)
- A collaborative spirit and passion for supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments
