Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000

The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Advantech’s software products. This role will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to validate requirements, identify defects, and continuously improve testing processes.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high‑quality software. This position plays a key role in maintaining Advantech’s standards for product excellence through structured testing methodologies, automation, and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in design and code reviews, providing feedback on quality, test coverage, and testability.
• Implement, maintain, and improve automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to development teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support regression testing, system testing and release validation activities as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
