Immediate opening for a SOLO NON CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Tustin, CA.

Pay:

• $840 or more per week – Weekly pay
• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Hours per week: 40 hours
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Thursday - Monday (off Tuesday & Wednesday)
• OT mandatory on weekends
• Start time: 6:00 am – 7:00 am (8 hours per shift)

Route and Equipment:

• Deliver SOLO to:
  Orange County
• Route:
  Local Home Daily
• Tractor type:
  Straight Truck
• Trailer type: 26′ Box Truck
• Equipment:
  Pallet Jack, Hand Truck and Lift Gates
• Ryder will train on all equipment needed
• Freight:
  Touch – Donated Goods
• Must drive both manual & automatic

Truck details:

• Trucks 36 months or newer
• 24/7 roadside maintenance
• Company drivers fuel trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 6 months verifiable driving experience
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check (including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive vehicle within and comply with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records, loading/unloading freight, or assist in loading/unloading freight as required by customer
• Other tasks as assigned
