Job DescriptionOperates all kitchen equipment, stocks ingredients, prepares menu items, receives and processes telephone orders, maintains inventory and paperwork, and cleans the facility daily.
TrainingOrientation and on‑the‑job training are provided.
Communication Skills- Comprehends and gives correct written instructions.
- Communicates verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Accurately performs basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and makes correct monetary change.
- Uses a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Exhibits strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order taking and processing.
- Demonstrates motor coordination between eye, hands, and fingers to make precise movements quickly.
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in a cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas, with sudden changes.
Fumes from food odors, exposure to commercial dust, cramped quarters including a walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing- Talking and hearing on the telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Directs activities, performs repetitive tasks, works alone and with others, works under stress, meets strict quality control standards, deals with people, analyzes and compiles data, makes judgments and decisions.
Stands most tasks, walks on ceramic tile or linoleum, lifts and carries items up to 60 lb, carries large cans (~3 lb) and occasionally heavier items such as 30‑lb pizza sauce, pushes pallets and pulls dolly trays, sometimes climbs stairs or ladders, bends at the waist, squats, reaches above 72 in., and performs frequent hand and wrist movements. Detects and uses a pizza peel, rolling cutter, and cardboard pizza box tools.
DeliveryResponsibilities
- Delivers products by car to customers' doors, distributes flyers and door‑hangers or other marketing materials.
- Obtains navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Transports products while carrying pizzas, sides, beverages, and moving through multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.
- Handles adverse terrain, including five or more flights of stairs.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle available for delivery duties.
- Strong navigational skills and ability to handle adverse weather conditions while driving.
- Far and night vision for safe driving.
